Hi all,
Its almost time to get back to driving after almost 2 months with an arm in a sling!
Looking to take a trip to the bodyshop and see how much it will cost to make the bodywork on the e30 mint or atleast close to it.
Can anyone recommend any places in particular to visit, within the North London area? Looking for someone who's really gonna give an honest price, and has possibly dealt with e30s before.
Cheers!
Nick

can try the guy who is gonna be doing my spray job for my front bumper and bonnet. He previously did my rear bumper when it had a nasty crack, done a good job on it, paintwork matched up perfectly. Ask for Mahmood on 0208-452-1035 or his direct mobile on 07940-287795.
Richard.

Anyone else got some suggestions? C'mon north londoners, can't all be at the pubs watchin the arsenal match?!

Hi there
I had a bumper prepared, painted and fitted last month to my daily driver by a chap in Tottenham. He did a good job.
He's on the Millmead Industrial Estate and his name is Jack. His number is 07958 387587.
He does a lot of work on E30s as it's passed to him by Autoform BMW (E30 specialists) on the same industrial estate but a few doors along.

cant say he has but he seems to know his stuff body work pretty well. He did my back bumper last year, he did my mates car with a full respray which came out immaculate, so he knows his stuff. Give him a ring, ask him what you wanna do, see what he says.

Should be driving again by the end of next week so I'll probably give him a ring in a couple of weeks or so. I'll say you sent me.
Cheers dude.

if you can get to Stevenage/letchworth, you could try Finish Line at Gravely. Did my e23 B10 and the finish is superb!

Nick:
Still battling on with the 318 then?? Not tempted to sell and buy a sport with good bodywork? Seems a shame to spend money on the bodywork of the 318 if you've been planning a new car for months (even if i was a bloody corrado!)!
As an aside: Got the diff and rear subframe off the roadster yesterday. The thing was mashed so easier said than done..Andy and Paul got their little hands dirty too.. Aww.
