I know member KDS did in his touring. Maybe try contacting him about the difficulties. Another alternative is to fix the headliner where it's sagging. What you can try is using spray tack glue to reattach the headliner. make a small hole, use a spray straw and spray sometack glue into the area. Should make things all better without costing a fortune.

ok now i am 100% suree it is not possible to do this job nicely - i am halfway through removing the b;ack lining from the sport and already i tghink there isn't a hope in the world of fitting it in my own motor as it would make to much of a mess fitting - any ideads on how to do this job proper without turning my car into a bodge job of window sills and whatnot.?

i'm a firm believer that a good man knows hiw limits so respect for your last post. rather than damage anything i'd suggest talking to/employing/working alongside a professional trimmer.
failing that it will have to be all glass out (a good opportunity to renew rubbers at least) and you and a friend/helper will have to put it all in slowly and carefully, pulling everything just as taut as required without tearing anything, maybe taking all day.
