i'm building one at the moment.
my setup is a second version eta with polished 325i head, schrick cam shaft, inlet manifold with bigger and polished ports, M30 injectors and ECU, alpina 6-branch, remapped, shaved head for higher compression, x-rohr so you can measure emission on 6 cilinders...
trust me, it's not just a bolt on.
there are a lot of sites, even in english, that have lots of info. just use google.
check out this one for example. http://www.strictlyeta.net/

i was under the impression that the 731 head was what was required because the 2.0 has flat pistons...

OK so if iyou use the 320 head on the 2.7 block what is the compression ?
And what would it be with the 325 head ?, bearing in mind that the 325 pistons protrude from the block unlike the 2.7. so i assume it would be lower

There is NO nucleus.

Off topic: Do you have any more pics of your car as I haven't seen many with Mims fitted.Finny wrote:pardon my lack of knowledge but what car is the eta block from?
