so many guys have done me a good turn. jonb's been sorting out odds and sods for me for must be like 5 yrs or so now - even before the zone was born, karan+dad sorted me out with the diff, ant has been extremely patient and good to me over megasquirt stuff - he's a bit of a saint, tbh so many people off here have been v helpful i'd hate to do a list for fear of missing people off.
i can't remember who it was but a few yrs ago on the old zone when i had a nasty fuelling prob with mine someone rang me up and had a good chat with me about that out of the blue. now that was a good turn!
i've had one dude let me down big-time (drove 300 miles for a small case lsd that turned out to be an open diff - rossm3evo with the red car with the black bonnet from total bmw), but i think you have to be a bit philosophical and consider that that's one case out of so many years on the zone.
despite the occasional idiot, the zone is still a great community.

edit to say cheers to demlot too, always been there to offer advice.

I owe a big thanks To bajandaan for running around like a headless chicken for me collecting bits and pieces for the new booty project. Also to Dips for things that will become apparent later and also for letting me have his fat toplines winkeye

There are also a few i owe a big shout out to for some really heart warming PM's when i was going through my dark days with the demise of my relationship around Christmas New Year time. If fact i think the whole Zone deserve a good pat on the back, cause we're mostly strangers from all walks of life and in all all different locations, but we all seem to be here for one another and by in large get on well together  :D

I bought a BMW fire extinguisher off herman with E30 specific mounts . He found out after I had paid that the Post Office wont post pressurised containers so had it hand delivered.

Someone gave me a case of Carling for a set of steels wheels. I was giving the wheels away free, so that was nice but cant remember the guys name, another tourer owner though

Over the time I've been a zoner I've been helped by so many people both physically and with advice.

My main thanks go to ANT, he is my hero and without going into details I wouldn't have completed either of my projects with out him, his knowledge or his skills. We both know how much we both put into our projects and for me it's been one hell of a learning curve, I owe him more favours that I could possibly ever repay.
I've learned as I've gone along and only the other day I did, for the first time on my own, refit my cylinder head, something I couldn't (didn't have the confidence) do before.

There are so many people I would like to thank for odd bits of help, tech info and general good sound advice.

Alpina527 (Ian) Top man even installed the BBTB while I watched and asked a thousand questions!

Gcorky —a Graham, the supplier of my newest toy, cheers dude!

Lentec, well he's a superstar too, at a minutes notice he turned me a new wastegate valve seat and saved my bacon bigtime, cheers Lennie!!

I doubt I can either list or remember all of the zoners who have helped me, it's been that long and that many over the time. This is why I keep coming back to the best car forum on the web….by far…..

Mark.
