 I'm tearing my hair out and going slowly insane at the amount of time i have spent researching this subject - and im still not sure WTF to do! There seem to be a few posts about Touring suspension lately too, seems we could do with some help of the E30 Zone :D

My 325i Touring is currently sitting on unknown progressively wound -40mm Saloon springs and standard shocks, the front shocks are a bit suspect and obviously the rear sags so i cant carry weight or passengers unless i drive like a vicar.

I don't use the car on track and i don't often really put my foot down, the car is mainly used for driving to/from work and weekend outings etc.
I just want something that looks good and handles good, im not after sublime handling or perfect manners, it'd be wasted on me!
Money is an issue - im suppose to be saving for a house :P

I know H&R (Cab 60/40 kit) is th'shizzle but way off what i can afford
Have been put off FK by the supply and quality of the shocks
Cant work out what rear shocks i need - do i need Touring specific or will uprated ones be ok?
Would like a 60~55/40 drop but only springs for the Touring i know of are either Spax (rock) or Ventura (cack)

Are the Streetline Bilsteins a good choice over standard, and what springs work with them?
Are the M-Tech Boge's any good?

Help :(

If you don't use your car for racing around then i'd just go with standard bilstien shock's, it's cheaper and do just the job your after. Stick 40mm spring's on, Jamex, Apex???? All round.....job done! :D

Where about's you live mate as my suspension is coming off soon which has that spec, i use mine quite hard through some corner's and am going for something alot stiffer :D

Get some decent springs and standard Boge shocks.

What colour are you current springs?

What do you recommend in the way of decent springs?

My current springs are flakey red and rust brown :?

Where's the best place for the Boge shocks, do you have any part numbers i can use?

Cheers :D
