has anyone used this on their 318iS?
im looking for a suspension upgrade, and this looks good, but i just want some feedback from people that have used it....
also, it seems like the rear shocks and springs are one unit, as opposed to a seperate shock and spring? does anyone know if this will have any bad effects on the car, such as, are the rear strut mounts on the body strong enough and capable of handling the forces acting on it? as usually the springs are mounted between the axle and the spring turret on the chassis rail
any feedback will be greatly appreciated, likewise any suggestions on other suspension kits...
cheers fella's....

It will work fine on an iS. Couple of guys have already fitted them to iS's with excellent results.

YES , i would also purchase before hand a set of new e36 rear shock mounts
chances are your old ones are tore up have them ready so that when you replace the suspension you'll have them . a big drastic change they make!!!

We fitted this kit to Jims old car when it was an iS before the 2.7 lump went in and the ride was awesome.
I also have this kit fitted to my car and I love it.

And I have the 60/40 kit on my cab ... I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to grin like a cheshire cat when you take corners at speed !!

There is a Zone chip for the 318iS - Its a little more expensive than normal though.
Best option for 35mm lowering on a 318iS is Bilstein shocks and H&R 35mm springs.

they stopped doing them because bmw made 318is with 3 different types of ecu or something like that. This caused problems because there were 3 different chips for them.
I'm guessing gumball is on board now and helping the zone shop (viper2) as he has been offering chips for 318is for some time now
your car will be fine with 60/40 just go slow over the humps. I've just fitted my cup kit springs to my alpina today, needs time to settle but i'm loving it!
