HELP, Dose anyone know why 91 touring "alloy" bottom arms are not the same as other E30's ? ? Can i fit any other e30 arms to my touring ? Is it to do with M-tech shockers fitted to the late spec touring ? Looking for a N/S one if anyone can help ! ! !

Yeah, they did share the M3 alumnium wishbones for a few years. You can use steel ones if u wish. No biggy really. They are the same size and everything just heavier.
My steel wishbones needed replacing recently on my Touring but I went with the Alloy ones (kerching. damn expensive) as per spec and it did make the front feel slightly lighter.
If u are after a secondhand set u could try Quarry in Sheffield. Prolly be about Ԛ£60 each. But u could buy a new steely for that.
It's up to u really.
Cheers

They were fitted to Tourings as standard, but I've never come across one that still has them fitted. Steel ones are interchangable, but it would probably be best to change both of them to steel if you're going down that route.
IIRC, there is a possible issue with fatigue with the alloy arms.

They have fatigue issues. They're the same size, but weigh less. Density comes to mind.
