Hi Guys,

I have only seen two other 318i luxes on here i think, and they were both been broken!! :( Any body else got ones that are not been broken? Just out of interest. :) Any body know how many were made roughly, i know they were only made for the last few years to shift the e30 for the arrival of the e36.

People only care about mileage, number of owners and FSH when buying 316i/318i

extra specification means nothing really

All the extras are nice to have. :P To be honest mine was advertised as a 318i, only found out it was a lux after!

Found it!
All End-of-line 318i Lux models have leather upholstery and an electric hood in addition to the cross-spoke alloys, front fog lights and metallic paint, so are worth a bit more!
Obviously the above applies to the Lux Convertibles. Don't know about the saloon's. Maybe somebody knows what extras they had over "normal" cars.

That sounds about right. Yes the rear spoiler. Steve, you wont have one as yours is a cab, they idnt get them (luckily!). Your seats are cab ones, in a normal lux they had comfort seats with 'lux coverings'.

Yes lux seats and lux spoiler.

Lux also had rear headrests, vinal gaitors and most seem to have the 3 spoke 'sports' (not mtech" steering wheel.

Yes lux tourings existed. They made 'lux' the lot to shit the small engine e30's when the e36 was on its way.
