I need a new drivers seat as I have managed to strip the cogs in the adjustment. It also needs new bubble leather as the seat part is well on its way. What are the chances of me picking up a pre-bubbled drivers seat, would I be better to think about getting the seat and the leather separately?

thanks

you can still buy this from the dealers william but comes as a complete kit ie you can buy all the back rest of the seat (leather bolsters & bubble leather) as one kit or everything for the base as another kit but it works out to something like £500 odd for the whole seat

The stealers told me the seat bottoms are £375 and the uprights are £235 and that's just the leather bits :(

I meant the bottom bubble leather and bolsters for £375, then the upright bubble leather and the bolsters are about £235. And the rest of the seat such as the seat backs and mechanisms are extra.

hmmm sounds bad, so if I can possibly get my hands on some bubble leather strips for slightly less than that, what are my chances of getting what is good (the back) on my current seat transferred onto a new seat? And can anyone tell me what the seats are, are they just standard recaro sport seats?
