Well, been having problems with the exhaust making contact with the steering column on left hand corners so I spent a couple of hours making this today to move the engine over a little bit and also prevent it moving under cornering.

Good work fella. im amazed at the talent of some of you F/I guys. i struggle to make my bed let alone half the components you guys put together!

it looks similar to a grp4 cosworth mounting.
should almost stop sideways movement

Hope so!

Looking at it, there's about 2mm between the column and offending downpipe!

Can't have been paying attention when I made that pipe!

looks good alex. i could do with one of those! when i corner hard to the left and brake the column just touches the exhaust. it makes a very alarming noise as the steering wheel acts like a loudspeaker!

better sort that... :D

I crapped myself first time it happened because of the noise and the way the steering suddenly goes dead.

worrying innit! :eek:

my steering goes VERY heavy when this happens too. i keep driving very slowly now! :D
