went to tax my 320 today didnt relise its gone up from 93 quid to 96 quid allmost 100 quid for 6 months . mot next month too hope it dosnt fail on much done allmost 20 tho since last years lol
when u look at though money well spent, scratch under £200 a year for constant road works, crappy road surface, no parking, nightmare traffic .. well worth it, im all for it having 2 cars 2 tax each year!!!!

Think yourselves lucky, Ive got three cars to bloody tax now! And I want a motorbike
like a damn fool, i got my e30 taxed bout a week ago after being sorn for 2 years, forgot they back date it to the first of the month so lost nearly a months worth, felt great walking out the dvla realising i'd paid 6 months and got 5 and a few days. fab
as do i...nearly there too! £60 a year...and that's only cos it slips into the 600cc+ category at 645cc! £45 a year if it was a 599c like many in that category! damn rip offstevetigger wrote:And I want a motorbike

Ive got two car's to tax within 6 weeks (and the same 2 to MOT
) It really is ridiculous given the state on the roads and that we pay somthing like 10p tax per mile by now with petrol.

I earn £151 per week... after nursery fees of £100 I dont have much to play with, and have to buy 6 monthly as I never have much cash at one time, and rarely have a car more than 12 months.
I went and taxed my bike which is a 900cc yesterday for 6 months and it went up a £1.00 to £34.10 also taxed my stag which is a 3.0 v8 and that went up £3.00 to £96.00. only got 4 more vehicles to go this half of the year.

Taxed mine on Friday and was told "its gone up " .I couldnt have told her the price anyway!
5 months off the road I really didnt give a s**t .
So far its even better than it ever was , deffinately worth the wait!!!!
Mart.

My renewal still isn't here! Went to the P.O yesterday and they said "All you need is your Reg Doc, MOT and insurance"316eyes wrote:Did you see the kind note on the renewal about the budget. Apparently you could tax the car from the 15th. and beat the increase.
My renewal came the day after the fcuking budget![]()
Wish I'd known that before the Budget.
I get £15 worth of Post Office saving stamps a month. Beats the hell out of paying nearly £20 a year too much to our wonderful Government.Zayyan wrote:Those who tax their cars 6 months at a time, how can you complain about it being too much?
You're throwing money away by not getting a 12-month disc.
