Hi,

Having some problems with my central locking. I tried metering the plug on the module and am getting 12v there. Looked in the module at the various bits and all seemed to be intact (following suggestions on other threads here).

I bought a new module from ebay over the weekend and fitted it tonight - as soon as I plugged it in I heard a high speed clicking sound for about a second (from the module) then nothing - and the c/l still doesn't work.

Any clues - I assume the high speed was a bad noise? Do I now have 2 broken modules and can they be fixed?

Thanks,
James

Only individual doors - no power to any locks with the key, button or alarm key fob.

Probably the Red/Black wire problem again, seems the most common!

Have you tried it yet?

the best hting to do is cut the red wire going in to the blank relay socket, cut the red wire in the far drivers footwell which is grouped with another three, and solder/ twist them together

solves most problems as its cuts a permanent live

I'll give it a go. I thought it only helped if you weren't getting power to the module?
