Some of you may have been aware that "Bootyman" was selling his green 318i Cab, well it's now in Bonny Jockland, in my garage! :D
Flew down on Saturday morning and drove her back on the Sunday.

It's a 318i, in Lagoon green and the whole car is near enough mint. The car is a K plate, with 4 electric windows, 17" Alpina reps, properly working power hood, power steering, full grey leather interior and full Tech 2 Kit including boot spoiler.
Full BMW service with all the belts and stuff being changed,so it's running beautifully. It also came with a stack of old MOT's and some receipts. It's done about 87k miles.

Big thanx to Ben for picking us up at the airport and running us around. (and for showing us the Reiger, now THAT is some car!!)
Apologies for using his pics here, but it hasn't stopped raining since I got the car, so no chance of new pics as yet.

looks great m8. i can remeber picking mine up from jersey drove home all nite with the roof down and heating on in september!!! cabs are defo the way forward, roll on sumer... 8)

Just realised that I've now had this car for almost 14 years!
Sadly, due to other commitments, it's been garaged for quite a few years - I need inspiration to get her back on the road.
Someone convince me, please .

Gotta get it running for summer on the 27th of June! Then you can put it away again for winter ;)

Finally, I've decided that now is the time....
The Cab has been whisked away to E30 Street for a full medical, and restoration work.
Looking forward to getting her back on the road :) :)

Ok, the cab has been away for nearly two months now - loads of work been done and this is gonna be epic. I'll see if I can get around to uploading some pics soon.
I reckon (and she was a "Car of the month" on here before), this will soon be one of THE BEST E30's in the UK when I get her back. Big thanks to Mark @ E30Street and all his team for the mechanical, welding and paintwork. I can't wait to get her back home.
It's not been cheap, but it'll be worth it.

Under the text box where you write a reply theres "options" and "attachments"

go to attachments - add files - then place inline and it will post the pic in the text box :thumb:

Well just had word that she sailed through the MOT with no issues!
I'm getting her back on Friday - can't wait. I'm trawling through insurance quotes which reckon it'll be around £130 per year - that'll do for me!

I can't believe this is going so cheap - one extra quid over the current bid clears the reserve price. Someone could end up with the bargain of the decade!
