325 Conv Air Con

Have a 89 325 Convertible, which is fantastic.
I cant get the Air Con to work though, the mech rebuilt the compressor regassed it and when he tested it it blew 18 deg.
As soon as he pinched the heater hoses it plunged down to 8deg.
He assumes there has to be a heater tap that is sticking, but I cant find out what that is.
Any ideas?

Roger,

There's an electric solenoid valve on the left side of the heater box. This controls the flow of water into the heater. If this has jammed open it could cause problems.
