this mod is fantastic, much better than those standard ones.
call breakers up, visit breakers,
early model e36 switches non one touch WHITE base, there 2 different colour looms on some models, dosent matter as long as the switch is white base non one touch. also get switch base with 3 -4 inches or the loom intact.
cut the e30 base off, and wire them up accordingly.
****please please test the circuit/wire connections, dont want to hear about e30 caught on fire or anybody hurt!! if your not clued up with electrics i wouldnt recommend this.
we used that article do to my converison, but we only used the wiring connections as a guide, we opened up the switches and found out how they worked (up,down) and wired them accordingly to the e30 loom..
all in all a very good conversion
would post up pictures of the wiring connections but i havent got my e30 at the moment, if i get it by the weekend i post some pictures.

its the just the switches
and it will be a reversible mod
so you will be able to go back to original if you wanted/needed

Im going to do this seeing as I have a convertible with four electric windows and a bloody hood thats electric! Would make putting the roof down ten times easier.
