I have had a quote to do a few jobs on my 635CSI Motorsports bodywork today and i am trying to gauge if the price is reasonable.
The work to be carried out is as follows,

FRONT SPOILER TO BE REPAIRED AND SPRAYED.
BOTTOM EDGES OF BOTH FRONT WINGS NEAR THE WHEELS AT THE BOTTOM WHERE THE MUD GUARDS SHOULD GO HOPE YOU GUYS KNOW WHERE I MEAN.THEY ARE NOT BAD BUT NEED TO BE SORTED.
ALITTLE BLOB OF RUST WHERE THE BUMPER MEETS THE BODYWORK JUST BELOW THE NUMBERPLATE.

I have been quoted £600 to do the work.

I also have been told that this type of work needs to be done right,old steel grinding out and replaced with new and then rust proofed.
The job that this company will be doing is cutting the rust out and makeing it up again with filler which i do not want.

Is there any garages that would do a good job on a 6 anywhere in the North west.

that is extorsion! iv had a knock in the 320, my friend is respraying my new wing, bonnet and bumper, sorting out the passinger side of the car(blowing the bottom of the door in) doing a bit over the passinger side arch, also a bit when u open the passinger side door and the 2 bits at the bottom either side of the bumper( where the i.s lip spoiler goes on)
he is chargeing me 350 pounds.

my damage for my mtec 2 is...

bonnet was jumped on by 2 ppl. so popping out dents, smoothing and spraying,
front spoiler chipped and scratched. smoothing and spraying
dent on drivers wing where old geez reversed into.
roof been jumped on, sorting dents and spraying.
scratches on door, and on rear bumper. boot was also jumped on (from the roof) along with spoiler. so smoothing boot, and spoiler where it wasa little chipped (does sound worse than it was. these were done by 2 druggies. they hardly weigh anything lol)
also passenger door was dented in. on the edge bit, that popped out, so he is smoothing wrinkles and spraying. touching up m3 mirror.
he front arch had some paint missing. wheel must of hit as its a bit low. so he sorted that.
quoted £400. but last time i paid cash and got money off.
my car is white tho, not metallic

Not sure if yours is expensive or not, but as a guide for my 3-series, here in Epsom I got a quote for all 4 wings to be ground out and resprayed with a very small dent taking out in the front - £300.
