Does anyone know if the 318is box is different to a normal 318i?
And does anyone know or have a link where i can compare the ratios.

Ratios of the box are the same acording to the back of the manual
No idea if its actually the same box on each, or what ratio the final drive is on thw 318 (4.10 on the iS)

318is box = getrag 270, same as the sport ones

EDIT - i thought ratios were the same?

i've been led to believe they are different but i'm not 100% sure

they are different. 100%

the output shaft is longer. i have a perfect one instock.
