Was recently asked by a close friend to buy him a 325i Sport after he took a drive of the touring. Said he loved how he felt connected with the car and the sheer driveability of E30's.
So Im now Sport hunting but cant find a decent one. he has told me no reds and whites so that doesnt make it easy. Also wants leather.
Is there anyone who'd like to part with their Minty low mileage non rusty sport??
Does anyone know of one around?

Hmm, no red or white, personally, I think that makes it easier, they seem to be the rarer colours (the specials excluded) I suppose it only really leaves Diamond Black, Dolphin Grey and Lachs Silver.
I think the owners of all the nice ones are keeping them tucked away for a rainy (read sunny!) day!
There's a post on the M-power forum about a one owner from new 325i sport that the elderly owner is parting out with, but the price tag of 7k is slightly optimistic!

£1400 for an Inspection II???
The car must have needed some serious work even at BMW dealer rates of £150 per hour, that's quite a bit. I won't even ask if he got his Four Plus discount!
If it's from WLN and still in good shape, he'll not have a problem shifting it.

I got a mint Mk 1 sport, NO rust not even in boot, no sunroof, 105000km, dolphin grey, but ya cant have it!
45 - 90 quid an hour for a YTS upstart who probably knows more about plugging a computer into a diagnostic socket and pushing enter while someone in germany over the internet does his job, would rather take mine to an established old school oil and grease mechanic. doubt if BMW service counts for much on resale of a 15 year old car.
my decision to work abroad gets better and better each day!

Bought the E30 m3 instead.
It is getting much hard to find minters now.

Got to agree,Even what looks like a minter can hide another story.Simon13 wrote:hence the pm to my bro in law...........

Slightly off key but i wouldn't mind betting that even the amazing Motorsport cab on ebay has some expensive issues.
The seller when asked has pointed out two rust spots on the scuttle panel, just like mine had prior to going in the paint shop, resulting in a screen out panel rebuild, if its the case, not funny having dumped 8.5- 9k
