Cleaned my ICV the other day, and noticed that when it was removed from the car (i.e. unpowered) that it was open by about 4mm.

Is this the normal state it should be in when it's unpowered, or should it be fully closed? It looked due for a clean and I was wondering if it was being preventing from closing fully?

Early ones close when unpowered, but later ones stay wherever they happen to be when the power is cut.

Early ones being L shaped, later (post 89?) ones being T? or is it not that simple :mad:
