Glued?

The black plastic part of the bumper, how is this attached to the body-coloured part? Is that a stupid question?

Where my little arrow is pointing , I just noticed I got a gap appearing, where the black plastic is coming detatched from the back part of the bumper - how can I sort that?

If you mean the plastic inserts (one centre and two corners), they are clipped in. If you want to remove them, it's easier to take off the bumper and undo the clips from the back (believe it or not!).

Here is a close up looking down onto the bumper [just above the number plate].



See the gap [which closes to the left of the pic]? If it is clipped into place, that must mean the plastic is out of shape right?

They just clip on.

Just don't look at it, and it'll be fine.

yeah to remove you just pull them off, but that will break the clips and it will never go back on. If you are that bothered about it squeeze some clear silicone down there and hold it in place till it dries
