I need to replace mine - where is a good place to get one please? And how would I go about replacing it?

Ask nicely in the appropriate forum on the zone, or a scrappy would be the place to get one.
Remove the panel above the glovebox, and then the one to the right, take the heater hose off in the engine bay and unscrew the two bolts that hold the valve. Wood be a good idea to drain off the coolant somewhere along the way as well.
When fitting the new one, hold the little square nuts in place with adhesive tape.
