Hi guys,

I'm not too clued on on BMW's. One thing I have noticed is that some E30's have shocks and springs all in one on the back as usual, while others have a spring on the trailing arm seperate from the shock on the back?

What's the difference and which ones have it and which ones don't? I want to order some springs for my E30, and i'm not sure if just normal ones listed for a 320i 6cyl will be right or not?

Thanks!

all e30's have the shock and spring seperate on the back from standard.
Im not sure about any aftermarket coilovers though.
Normal ones listed for the e30 for the rear will be 2 springs which sit in the trailing arms and 2 dampers which bolt to the trailing arm and go up to the strut housing in the boot.

Sweet. Thanks for the quick reply, it was on E30 DIY I saw a normal shock / spring tower just in the back end, also seen them on a few other sites I googled for.

Cheers,

Steve
