Hi there again,

Well I took the 'MegaBus' up to Manchester yesterday to seal the deal on the 318i Lux I won on Ebay. Turned out that I have done rather well I think.

1990 318i Lux, Alpine White, 80500 miles, every receipt and MOT, original toolkit and first aid kit etc - spotless and for Ԛ£725. Even had the cambelt changed 13000 miles ago in 2002. Quite a step up from my old Proton 1.5 MPI!

Best of all - no tappet noise at all - a very sweet sounding engine and I shall try to keep it that way.

Had a great journey back and didn't notice anything awry, though doubtless afew little items may turn up over the coming months so I look forward to getting to know you people this year.

Welcome, car looks mint, looks like you've had a good buy!

As Andy said, some nice 15" BBS on there would look just right!
