Exhaust Manifold - Head Studs

Just looking through "real oem" for the part no's. It appears that different sizes are required, anyone got any idea how many of each etc and where they go ? Real oem just has question marks againt quantity ! Even the guy at ECP was confused (not hard) The ones that came off appear to be all the same, different (original) manifold going back on.

All exhaust studs are the same AFAIK.

All mine were the same on the coup. I had to have 2 drilled out by the local agricultural engineer and he ended up drilling them a size bigger once he had got the studs out that had sheared off flush with the head. So he drilled the manifold to match and it was a dman good fit.

Start the engine with the manifold off, I had to just to get it out of the garage, do it for 5 seconds and it'll make you smile!!

PS sorry mate I was really busy on friday, I'll be posting the maniflod tomorrow, it's missing 1 down pope stud, but I think you'd probably do well to replace them all.

go to a dealer for stuff like this. they're often as cheap/cheaper than euro, and (my local one at least) tend to know exactly what's going on, what goes where etc.

the last stud i sheared flush with the head was rescued by welding a flat plate to it - no damage done.
