CAR RADIO.

Does anybody know what radio came as standard in the Motorsport Cabs.
I was reading an old copy of total bmw and there was an Hreg sport and they said it came with the BAVARIA ELECTRONIC RADIO is this correct.
There is 1 for sale on ebay as i dont like the cd unit thats in the cab at the moment looks to out of place and its silver and no it was not me who put it in lol.

My late cab came with the radio cassette you're talking about, though I'm not sure if it was standard on Motorsports.

A nice old skool radio that looks right at home in the E30 dash but I really need CDs so it's soon to be replaced.

Make me an offer on it if you're interested

DUDE , i would find a good APLPINE or a BLAUPUNKT or even a KENWOOD
stock head units as some call them just aren't up to date for my taste but
thats just my 2 cents worth. My replacement unit will more than likely be a
unit that has black faceplate and red backlighting hopefully one of the above mentioned brands or maybe a SONY .
also be aware that your cab doesnt have an opening from the trunk to the back so i would get a 2 channel amp and run one line for a speaker in the trunk and one in the pass. comp. along with the existing speakers up front . so hope this was helpful GOOD LUCK

Go for a Nakamichi 400 CD.They look the mutts nuts and the sound is unreal!

Anybody heard of a BLAUPUNKT BREMEN RCM HEAD UNIT i want one think it would look cool in the cab.
I seen this unit in a M3 in 1 of the old total bmw mags.

i have a blaupunkt cassette player but dont have a clue if its that one

This is what I had in my E30. It's a sinlge CD player (MP3, etc). The features are really good on it, but it's now been taken out and has complementing Blaupunkt a 6-disc changer and new cable to go with it. It really does look right at home in the E30 dash...

Been thinking about selling it.

You interested in it?

Got a kenwood minidisc (mdlp) & changer setup at the mo, but my minidisc recorder has died so I think it may be time to admit defeat & abandon the format!

Will take pics of it tonight, along with the changer and cable.

Taken it out of the car as I now have an E38 with a built-in system that rocks!

So I'll either keep it safe & ready for the next E30, or let someone else have the pleasure of the kit...

It's white on black, but the buttons glow up red / orange. It does look good when in place.

mine had a pioneer tape fitted (its not a motorsport) but it was fitted by bmw,its even on the invoice.i had a sony mini disc in mine and changed it for an alpine screen one which i had for a week b4 it was stolen

.the sony looked the nuts and was mini disc but what ever you put in remeber its a cabby so easy 2get in2...
