The problem is more of an irritant than anything else as the car seems to be running ok....when running the parking brake light, the pad wear light and the battery light all flicker very dimly (not noticable during daylight unless you shade over the console)...the headlights (when on) also flicker in intensity in conjunction with this....also (only happened on one occassion) if thed abs light comes on the radio loses power when it goes off again....
Have checked the earth and that seems ok....car has had ICE added by previous owner....any ideas :?

Like you say,weird.
For a start, check all the earths (brown wires) above the glovebox where they all bolt to one or two studs (or is this what you've checked?), and try removing the altenator and cleaning off the faces where the aluminium of the altenator is in contact with the engine - I've seen corrosion build up here, although everything appears to be tight and clean. Try a different altenator if you can.

Thanks Brian...no I hadn't checked the earths under the (or above ) the glove box so that'll be my 1st port of call..I'm tending to think it's the alternator tho' (Or hopefully just the regulator)....but will check the earths b4 anything else Cheers Dom
