what a git this has been to do so far i have only got the drivers side seat fitted, I found 2 holes to bolt the rear runners down so no drilling at the back end, however the front i have had to drill the 2 holes i have used really massive washers to give extra support for mounthing the seats.
Fingers crossed their both be in their for this weekend coming

Whats involved in fitting E36 seats into an E30 ?
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....

The other seats out at the moment due to drilling ill take some pic's of the process and post them up, it was harder than i thought but i have found a cool way of getting around drilling 3 holes.

Wow - looking good.
I've always liked E36 seats too - esp Vadars.

its not easy mate, theirs alot of checking and double checking, i think its easy in a 4 door as their is more room and the runners are smaller.craigieeb wrote:cool, would you be able to get some pics of how you'v mounted the seats to the floor mate, as im in the prosess of buying some,

In my one I used the orignal hole on the left rear fixing and discover a plastic gromit holding the seat belt mec cover in place, remove that to find that the it was another hole and managed to bolt the rear right fixing down their.
The front two holes had to be drilled, it was a bitch, went out and got a new drill bit first off and some big ass washers bolts etc and the check under the carpet for cables etc and move them back whilst drilling.
I then bolt the seats down and job done, under sealed the bolts etc and u wouldn't notice the difference under the car ( i love under seal)
