Prevent stone chips, they also trap moisture, and can cause damage to the paint.

I'd only use one if I had a show car, that comes out 3 times a year, to drive back and forth to a show. For a daily driver, it will do more damage than good.

I've had a couple now and I really like them... One from Bavarian AutoSport and the other direct from Colgan in the US.

I'd rather have a bonnet full of stone chips personally. So it's quite lucky that i have.
