2.7 conversion on its way!!!!!!!

what a day its been,this morning just bought a BMW 525e and the price,well beleive it or not Ԛ£75!yep and drove it back from canvey island to walthamstow and i gotta say it drove like brand new.body work was A1 condition except from the front bumper which was hangin loose.Got it home and got working straight away,took the engine and box out,and sadly left the car outside for the scrappers to collect.I know it aint waorth fu*ckall but if i had the space i would of stripped it.anyway now that the engine is out,gona strip it(top half) and get it ready for a 2.7 conversion.


PLEASE PLEASE YOUR OPINIONS WOULD BE GRATEFUL,if any of you have done one of these would like to be directed in the right direction.

P.S if any of you need any parts off the 525e(i doubt it) its still outside and would take anything off you need.

Can't really give you any advice but keen to see how you get on.

Take it you're starting off with a 325i?

I did it from an US ETA it added twice the hp to the wheels. if you still have the car grab some goodies out of it to sell on ebay you could make back you purches price in a flash at least in the US, you guys most likely have parts for these cars every where

i believe there was a post floatnig about from Maaserbates about a 2.7 he has just built using standard parts... might get some ideas from that.
