Engine oil recommendation

I have an E30 1991 320i, I"ve been using Fuchs SuperSyn 5W-50 for the past 2 years now and i noticed the car is running smoother. Is it ok to use this brand or what brand do you recommend, my car has 146k.

Bit over the top for an M20, but absolutely fine.
