Well i gave the guy a ring today and he is sending some pics of the m3 to me will post a few pics up.
I am really in two minds as to what i should do as i think the m3 would be a good long term investment and its a very rare car.
I have only just got my Motorsport and its a good one so would be stupid to sell her as they are rare and beautiful to look at.
I dont like the lhd and the 4 pot on the m3 but its a uk speced car and i suppose once you drive 1 you are hooked.
He wants Ԛ£9000onco but its the whole selling thing again and Ԛ£9000 is alot of money all said and done.

Cheers

I'd never been in a LHD car before my 1st M3 mate. It took me all of 10 minutes to start getting use to it.

It's a tough one this. Shame i havn't owned my Msport for a while cause i could give you a constructive view on both cars. Personally though i'd probably stick with the Msport, just for the fact that your market is wider if you have to sell it in the future. Also with all the cameras and stuff around these days is it really worth giving up the comfort of a RHD car for a faster LHD car? I guess it will all come down to the angle you look at this from, but i wouldn't want to be in your shoes cause i had a similar dilema just a few weeks ago when i was deciding whether to buy the Msport or a Merc CLK AMG cab. Both would have set me back about Ԛ£13k, but i opted for the Msport cause it's what i know best and it's what puts a smile on my face even though the Merc was years newer and probably a better investment

Still waiting on some pics had to phone the guy again said he would send them.
I suppose the m3 would only be for summer and weekend use only i suppose the same with the m3.
I think the m3 is very rare and as such a good investment and it would also be my first m3.
Still in 2 minds really its alot of dosh.

Cheers

Do what your pocket allows dude. I think both cars are good investment and you stand to get your money back on both if looked after. It all comes down to how deep your pockets are and what's tugging on your heartstrings more winkeye

I remember one of my local car dealers imported a M3 cab from Germany. It was jet black with gray leather and the fattest splitrims just the way i like my cars. Boy i wanted that car. I remember i'd drive by several times a day just to gaze at it, but i wasn't in the financial position to buy it at the time and it was sold. I was heartbroken and for the 1st time in my life i'd peobably have sold my soul to the Devil himself if it meant having that car and that's my point about which ever car is pulling at your heartstrings the most

I am happy with my Motorsport infact i love her,but it like having an affair with Cindy Crawford should i leave the wife for her or stick with what i have got and be happy and make motorsport babys lol.
I suspose m3 convertibles only come around once in a blue moon and i dont think i would have any trouble selling my car.I would have to make an offer first and see what he says.

well put it this way, its very rare to see a M3 cab. I haven' seen one on the roads and I've only seen them on the internet. To me its a rare car so I'd try and buy it now while you can if you got the funds for it.

I dunno about these prices.

I tried to sell my e30 m3 convertible and got 9grand in the end including hardtop.

So anything is possible if the right buyer is available.

I presume this is the same Gus I think it is, hello mate, Bharat was telling me you had it featured in BMW carclub mag, i took a look and whaddya know,.

Well done mate, sad to see it go.
