cheers
i've just been digging in the service history
it lived about 5 miles from my house in 1993!
And it had the bigger 296x25 front disks and bigger calipers when it was new
who's f**king taken them off!
I wonder of sytners will be able to sort me out?

I'm looking forward to seeing it mate.
Glad you enjoyed the Cavalier!
Big discs!!
I doubt someone knabbed them, maybe they were changed for the standard ones because disc and pad replacement was sh*tloads for the bigger ones.

my local dealer said they used to look after a C2 years ago, just so happens this one has been serviced there in 93/4. He said it had big brakes and they used to have to wait 5-6weeks for the disks to come in from germany
I've got the part numbers for them!

Its a real shame it doesnt have the big brakes now.
Im sure youll stick em back on though.
