Had a spin in Ant's 325i turbo today... :D

Bloody brilliant conversion it is too. Obviously goes without saying it's damn quick, but the quality of installation is absolutely second to none. The boost comes in so smoothly it could be a normally aspirated engine twice the size, and the management is even better. Runs easily better than any other E30 I've been in, and I say that honestly - smoother idle, smoother on load, no jerkiness at all.

Very high quality workmanship, and superbly mapped too. Top Job, I take my hat off to you :notworthy:

...and doesn't it sound lovely from outside?

mail me an address dude, and the pics CD will be on its way

Certainly is a smooth torquey engine.

Would love to see what it could do turned up high! Not that it was in the least slow!

Bet you can't wait for yours to be done! Bet it'll be awesome!

With the A/R size of the current turbine more boost = more wheelspin Dave, a larger housing will reduce this and allow more top end BHP too.

its in the pipeline fellas

I love driving this car.

I even managed to get a parking ticket in it I drive it so much!

Its like having a quiet huge capacity engine under the bonnet.

Low end torque is simply brilliant since the map has been adjusted.

Even the best 2.7's dont come close to the massive wave of torque this thing chucks out.

it's near V8 power in a e30.

I loved it when i've been in it. And as said just as smooth as a good N/A 2.5 and more.

Arse dyno also confirmed alot of torque!

'Near V8 power' lol....near but ooo so far. No substitute for V8 rightness mate!

Sounds like youve got a nice car here though, wouldnt mind seeing it one time. Havnt been doing any of the meets/shows for ages, too busy. Might try and get up to ace or lakeside once the weathers better, youll have to take me for a spin!
