Due to having way too much time on my hands recently i've done the 2.5 tb conversion on my touring. I bought an inlet manifold from a scrappy so i could take my time over doing it and gave that the bling treatment as well as the tb. Chances are i won't bother fitting it, i just fancied a project, so if anyone's interested, watch this space!

I used Harley davidson vht texture paint. I picked it up in the states but you can probably get it from any dealer. It gives it a really nice finish.

I cleaned the tb using a dremmel, emery cloth, steel wool, and a whole load of elbow grease. To be fair, i've only cleaned the visible parts, the underside is as filthy as when i got it

which dremmel polishing attachment did you use? soft wire brush type? did you use Dremmel to start polishing or did you use it to finish off? got a bit of free time, a Dremmel and a 325 TB about to go on my cab, would like to have a go at making it look like yours!!

Yep, started with the soft wire brush attachment to get down to the engrained dirt, and then polished it starting with 180 paper and finishing with 1600.

Nope, unfortunately still sitting in my attic :( . Changing the inlet manifold would probably be the most involved thing i've undertaken so i'm a bit nervous about doing it.

I'm sure they would, but being in Amsterdam there aren't too many local zoners
