Can anyone please tell me how to remove the front indicators (the ones in the bumper).
I know the front can be removed by the 2 screws at the front but I need to remove the whole unit.
I have consulted both Mr Haynes and Mr Bentley but neither can help me.

On a pre-facelift, there are 2 small nuts (might be bolts, I can't remember!) holding them in from behind. There's enough room to get a socket on them easily enough...
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...

You need to remove the bumper, they are secured from the rear.
Bumper is removed by 2 Torq screws (size T55) on the underside of the bumper.
