not without some spacer kits, those wheels would sit too far into the arches and you may get rubbing issues particularly as their 18's!

Hi Gouki,

Do u know what type of spacers i need and where is the best place to get them from.

Will the wheels fit properly if i get the spacers etc?

Also, is it safe to have spacers and all that stuff, will the car still take abuse without the wheels fallin off?

What is the offset size for E30s.

Thanks Guys! :D

ideally hub centric ones that are designed for the car. The recommended offset IIRC is around 20-25 which shouldnt cause rubbing issues. Spacers are fine but some people wont recommend a thick one. You'll need longer bolts to go with it too.

http://www.performancefx.net/wshome.htm they do specific kits for most models.

If i were you i'd try finding a different style rim with a lower offset if you can. Not too sure whether those wheels would suit an E30 but thats personal preference.

the offset is way to high! you will need spacers as said above and they will need to be about 20mm spacers. hubcentric ones. i think eibach do some and so do H&R.

personally i wouldnt go near them as a 20mm spacer is too much i think. 10mm is max id go

I already have Kahn RSR 18's on the car already and i love the look of them, i really wanna set of RSC's for it and thats the only set of wheels i would consider changing to.

I might just look for another set of rscs on ebay if they do pop up but not sure as to these ones.

Anyway thanks mate!

mind you havign said that, i'm not running spacers on mine and they I think a 40mm offset and there's no rubbing issues with them. But maybe because their 17's.

I have 20mm spacers on my cab. Under no circumstances buy spacers that require longer bolts. They will snap the wheel bolts on the drive wheels.

The reason being that these type of spacers are generally universal so there is free space in the spacer where the bolt passes. Therefore the bolt doesn't actually touch the spacer. So when you accelerate, you will get a twisting of the bolts as the spacer is not a secure fit.

I hope that makes sense. You can get a cracking set of spacers that bolt onto the sub and have separate soels to mount the wheels onto, so you can use the original wheel bolts. This eliminates the slippage and the spacers are of a greater quality too. I'll rack my brains as to where I found mine on t'internet. Worth searching for.

Do you know someone with a new mini? If so you could try fitting one of their wheels to see if they'll fit and you'll have an answer. Or pop down to the local mini dealer and speak to a mechanic, I'm sure they'll let you borrow a wheel if you get chatting.

Im not totally convinced of those universal ones you mention as they tend to break! If you get the hub centric ones you have to have longer bolts to go on to them. But i'd be interested to know of the spacers you have, as I at this time i'm having problems obtaining longer wheel bolts to accomodate my spacers as they are a special type designed specifically for the wheel. I get what you mean with the bolt not touching the spacers as all that happens is they sit in further if I'm right?
