Im doing some research on HID kits and require some info.
I am constantly approached by members to purchase HID kits and want to give a good product at a reasonable price.
Ive heard too many horror stories about the cheaper kits available from Ebay.
The kits I have access to are
DOT approved, MOT approved and fully E-compliant in all safety, E.M. emmission and performance specifications.
Having these approvals I think is very important.
The ballast and ignitors are all in one box.
Can any of you tell me what else I should look out for?
Not too clued up on the "K" readings either but these are 6K.
Any help and advice will be highly appreciated and benefit those who are going to buy them.
Thanks
Sal

The K reading is related to the color temp.
As long as they have the CE, DOT & TUV approvals, they should be ok.

Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....

Thanks for that.
Has anyone heard of X Tech HID Kits or Target? These seems to be the best quailty ones at a reasonable price. Very low failure rates unlike the junk off ebay.
