just being noisy, but i was coming home from thilehurst last night and at the top of langley hill (vrry sttep hill) there was what looked to be a very very mint red 325i sport (phase 2) standerd but verry nice!
it was facing up the hill and it had been verry badly smashed up tho i think that the driver was ok as there were 2 people in a new 3series behind that and i guess that the driver was in that!
shame realy cause it was a verry smart car and like i say i reconised it so just wounderd if it was a zoners????

dodgy dodger!

Shhhhh :)

It wasn't me.

I saw a Sport on the M25 yesterday that I thought I recognised, grey one with the numberplate H(?)599***.

There was a guy in a pre-facelift following him and then me behind. Pretty sad actually

You think that's sad? I've started cheerily waving to other E30 drivers like a fuking geriatric volvo driver.

Trouble is there are a lot of confused 318i touring drivers that can't work out why the boy racer in the red beemer keeps waving at them like he just met them in church or somehting.

Sad.

I have to admit I do give clean-looking E30s a flash and normally I get looked at like I'm some sort of mental patient.

One bloke in a very nice Sport in Bristol (grey again) with the plate B4 *** did wave back though :)

yeah i do the same!
there is a red m3 drop top with blacked out windows and four exhausts driving near me and i sometimes beep but no response lol bet he thinks i am a right prat!
its just a habit cause i work with classic cars restoring them when you drive and see another classic you wave and they always wave back!
think we should have a beep pattern for all zoners so we can beep the pattern and if they beep back we no it is a zoner!!!! lol

you do have to be "special " to own a mini

yeah a quick toot and flash usually elicits a response from e30 drivers round here

i get the opposite! i flash and wave at sport owners but from a distance a 335i touring sleeper blends into the background. i saw a M3 owner the other day gave him a wave and he looked all sympathetic at me!!!!

little does he know!

i do feel like a prat if i wave and get that "why are you waving at me" look!!!! :D

i found out that the bloke who crashedthe sport was 1 of my mates cousins! i was told he was doing a dounghut and as he came out of it he kept his foot down and tried driving down the road like this but with his arse end still hanging out and building up speed the obivious happend and he loast it went on to the other side of the road and straight through a brick wall!!!!
i was then told the reason he was dounghutin round a round about was because he was showing of his NEW toy to mates and there girl friends!
some people just cant handle the power of a rear wheel motor!
he probly went from a 1.1 chaved up fiesta llol!!
but i do feel bad for the chap as we all like to show of our new toys but somtimes get a bit carried away!
i was told that it was a verry low millage geniune sport which was owned by an old man since new and was !00% orignal.
o well if every 1 keeps smashin them up i guess ours will be worth a mint soon! lol
