Anyone able to shed some light on this for this for me. My 325 sport has been off the road for around 8 months unused but i got it all legal yesterday and have started using it again. When i rev it in neutral it takes ages for the revs to settle like the linkage is slightly seized but it moves freely! It is also ticking over at just over 1000rpm.
Anyone else had this problem?

Throwing money at it will probably fix it. Throwing a hammer at it is far more rewarding!

Just a guess-Throttle position switch?
Should be able to hear it click at the throttle body as soon as the accelerator is pressed.

I recently replaced i ICV so it could qite possibly be that.
Things ive replced while its been off the road are:
1. ICV
2. Air filter (HKS)
3. Throttle body to AFM induction hose

Check for air leaks on hoses, refit old or alternate ICV and go from there. I recently had very similar and was the ICV.
