hi folks, looks an excellent forum- wish i had of found it 3 years ago when my 318i started falling apart!! lol!

i am thinking of getting an e30 cab. most of the ones ive saw have manual hood's- was wondering if its possible to convert them into power hood's? or is this a pure mission of a job? dont suppose it would cause me too much hardship do it manually!

most people do it the other way as power hoods can be problematic and expensive to fix,,,but fun
