As you know I moved to the dark side.
Kept the E30 tucked up in the garage since christmas and every now and again had a peep at it. Was looking pretty sorry for itself; absolutely filthy dirty, the carpet for it folded badly and perched on the boot, together with other parts and cans of this n that. Also recently has started to grow a good layer of mould on the seats, seatbelts, steering wheel and roof lining.
Over the last week I had been giving thoughts again to putting an ad on here for the morsels on the car and bin the rest.
Decided today to get some crap cleared out of the garage now that I am driving around in a Xsara for the next few weeks and use the thing as a mobile skip to get rid of an old mattress and loads of other shite down to the tip.
So did that and then jumped the E30 off the Xsara. Immediate grin once it burbled into life and then decided to get it out the garage and give it a wash.
So it got a quick wash and a customary blip to the bottom of the road and back. I'm so happy I kept it and thoughts of raping it for the bits are now at the back of my mind. I am going to phone a couple of local garages and get some prices on doing the rear bushes and swap over a diff for me. Then I can drive the thing again and get it down to Norfolk or maybe even use it whilst the Soarer is getting repaired.
Still having rude thoughts about putting in the Toyota 7M GTE out of the MK3 Supra Turbo. Gonna get it roadworthy again and stick some rent in the screen and see what happens.
Glad I didn't break the old girl

nice one lee
always liked your car for obvious reasons(good colour and tech 2 kit)
was a bit gutted when you first thought about fragging it so its nice to hear youve rekindled your love.hope to see it again soon and maybe one day this summer it can sit alongside mine!
that straight six might not be the most powerful engine out there but i know what you mean about the sound, brings a big ass smile to the face
