I was wondering what every one thought of the G-teck pro rr timer. I got one on e-bay and think it is neat but the hp ratings seem very low. on a rolling dyno my car pulled 198hp to the wheels and 220lbs feet. the g-tech says 100hp and 203lbs feet
. the other thing is that my 1/4 mile times are just about the same with in a few tenths of my track times. anyone have a set up tip.
Cheers

Yeah I found the same. 0-60 and QM times seem impressively accurate, but HP is way off. If you think about it, there's no way it could be right without knowing about your gearing etc... Still a very cool gadget though!

The HP figures depend on you getting the exact weight of you and your car correct. Even if slightly out it will make a big difference.
I bought one but just for the 0-60 and 1/4 times which it seems to do really well.

The best tip i have heard from loads of people that have the timer is, get the car weighed (with you in it) at a publicweigh bridge.
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....
