As I mentioned in an earlier post my 320ise 2 door is practicly a gone'r, I'm just waiting for the insurance dude to have a look. As a result I've been looking at a few 318is, everyone seems to agree there better all round than a 320's. If anyone knows of a nice one or has any advice I would be grateful and does anyone know anything about this one ?

Thanks any help appreciated !

Looks a nice car, but as with any advert, it's what's not written that's more important than what is!
You have to look at the car, critisize anything that you can, don't let the heart rule the head, and negotiate the price downwards.
Price is way more than I would pay for a 318iS, but then, I only buy selected cars with problems that I can fix.

Thanks for the input, appreciate it. I understand what your saying about the price but there doesnt seem to be that many about at the moment and if the insurance do write mine off I wont really have the luxury of time and may well end up having to get whatever I can in order to travel

when i destroyed my car, i just got a banger with a couple of months mot for Ԛ£80, gave me time to find a decent car not rushing.. got Ԛ£50 from the scrappie after i wrapped the banger into a bridge.

you sure that will be a write off? i had similar damage to mine and i fixed it for under Ԛ£200.although you also seem to have coolant leaking as well.

I dont have the ability to fix it myself and as you say its leaking coolant, I think if it was to be repaired it would need a new bonnet, n/s wing, windsreen, bumper, front panel, grill, front valance and probably other bits and pieces. I think the cost of the labour in repair shops these days will just make it too expensive to do.
