About 9m20-30 BTG (Bridge to Gantry) in a 325i
It's all so traffic dependant though
I've heard of locals going round in 9mins or under BTG in a stripped 318is though
Under 9mins should be quite achiveable in an m3 if you know the track well and get a clear lap
I know Espen (http://www.nordschleife.no/) got around in 8m44 in his e30 m3, but its not std, and he's an absolute nutter
I think thats probably an estimated full lap time? Or carpark back to carpark though
The Gantry to bridge section if you could drive the entire circuit would take 25-35 seconds depending on cars power/drag
If you add 30secs to your time thats a good guess for an entire lap, taking into account the fact youre not fully up to speed as you pass under the bridge

it's not about the times u do there it's about the crack. Go stupid and u will come back in a box end off really, no room for error there
I've been there once and there were enough accidents i lost count how many.
I'm not saying it for effect either!

Agree with you 100% there, but the question was asked.
No point in timing really - there are no prizes to win, someone else is always going to be quicker and theres lots of very close armco to hit & cause you big bills (armco, tow truck, track closure etc etc aside from trashing your car)
Also insurance wont cover you at all if you're found in a crashed car with a clock running
Go, get a few passenger laps, try to learn the layout a bit, do a few fun laps at a comfortable pace, hang out in the car park looking at all the great exotica, go to a few viewing points round the track to spectate, eat good food and drink lovely german beer in the evening while bullshiting about your great driving skills/speed, come home in one piece!

Weathers so random there anyway, though it has to be said, dunno if I'd do much more than an odd fairly gentle lap in the wet.
Tip is go round the outside of bends like brunchen in the wet - much less slippy
The rings still under snow at the mo, which is possibly a worry for you as i think there may still some resurfacing work to do?
One thing though, if you go and theres snow Zakspeed will rent out quadbikes for you to go round the ring on I've heard!
Drank loads of bitburger the 1st couple of times I went, bought a couple of crates too, but then I tried weitzen and loved it - tend to drink that mostly now.
You can get bitburger in a few supermarkets over here these days, good for a bit of ring nostalgia

5'11 is my best time on GT4
Although it is a lot of fun to drive it in standard Alfa Giulia, Lotus Elise/Carlton and MX-5!
I was getting mid-high 10's in my standard 320i in full road trim and Regal Tyres (Also never got a single clear lap
) when I was there. I wasn't timing, just going off my video times when I got home. I took it easy at both breaking zones coming into Breidschied (No room for error there) and at the end of Planzgarten. Everywhere else was trying pretty hard! Downside is that my 320i wouldn't break 85mph on the climb from Bergwerk to Karrussell!!
