I have heard a lot of talk about rack converstions on the zone but not sure what what would be best. I have no problem spending a little coin but not sure what will work for my U.S model. I also would like to know what the ratio is of the e30 rack? and will i have to rebend any of the hard lines on a U.S car for clearance? lastly does anyone know if some one makes and adapter for the e36 rack? I would like any input you may have thanks all :D

I just installed a Z3 rack in mine. Mine's a U.S LHD. Non-airbag.
The e30 is ratio is 4 turns lock to lock.

check out www.zionsvilleautosport.com
thats where i bought my steering rack conversion "kit"

is your car non-airbag?

your best bet may be to source a E30 M3 rack as it'll be a straight swap and they're all LHD. we can't use them as we're RHD.
