the blub under here is playing up, sometimes on sometimes off. How do i get to it and where exactly am i looking?

Same on my car, I just put up with it!


Theres three little bulbs in there and its a bitch to get into.

If I remember right you have to pull off the three slider knobs and then prise off the front panel the sliders are in!

i had the obc,radio and my little alarm flashy thing and i still couldnt see what i was doing!

Unfortunately you remember wrong! There's two bulbs which light up the panel.
I know where they are on a RH drive car, but I don't know if it'san exact mirror image on a LH drive.
ON A RH DRIVE CAR, one lamp is right below the centre of the OBC or clock. (Easy to get at with the clock, just by pulling the clock out).
The other, which lights the sliders by fibre optics is half way between the bottom slider abnd the bottom of the fan knob, and is pushed in at an angle of 45 degrees with the wires end pointing to the right. Can be reached, with difficulty, by removing the panel above the driver's legs.

the optic one is the one playing up, too many sharp raps when swapping my sliders about.

can i still get to it by pulling the slider facia off? i think i saw the optic arangement earlier also, but wasnt sure where in all that the bulb was placed

Won't get to the bulb by taking the sliders off. Could possible get to it by loosening the whole heater panel and pulling it forwards.
