The hood on my car is folding eratically and slowly, always seems to be a big effort for the car. I have another car on which the hood is perfect and folds quickly and easily every time. Is it possible to just take the frame off one car and put it on the other, or is it more likely to be the motor that is weak (I thought it would be more on or off than strong or weak??)

Thanks

if I were you, I would disconnect both motors (that's two on each car) and operate each hood manually.

This will tell you if the mech is to blame (if manually, one is stiff and the other isn't) or if they both feel the same, one cars motor must be struggling...

good plan?
