Got my car running last night after 2 weeks of effort (was the ignition wire to the relay in the end :x )

I wanted to make sure all the electrics were working, everything does except the hood... now having never put the hood down on the cab, am i doing anything wrong?

poped the hood up so it wasn't attched to the car. put all the windows down, pressed the button and.................. NOTHING :(

whats the first thing to look for a fuse or a relay or something? where can i find it as well

NO whirring or clicking noises at all? No sounds of expensive things breaking?

fuse, wires, switch, but the electric rooves (sp?) are renowned for breaking and being very expensive to fix.

Dunno

If you're suggesting it's a Manual it's not  hope that didn't sound arragant just that I know the person who owned the car before me and i've seen it working many times

I brought it off him after it's been off the road for nigh on 6 months so everything is a bit shoddy at the moment

Can you do the whole thing manual if it is a electric anyway

I thought i'd update this as it now works and i'd be nice to people running a search at later dates 8)

basically the things i learnt about the power hood...

The hood is feed from a black and red wire that goes directley to the control box in the boot. First off check for power there. If thats not getting power, chase the wire back up to the fuse box.

POWER DOESN'T PASS THROUGH THE SWITCH!

The wires that go to the switch are White with a red line and White with a Yellow Line. The greay and red wire is the light and the 2 browns are earths.
