bad e-bay experience

Hi all. Just to warn you off of a firm called 'Bavarianautoparts', who operate on E-bay. I bought a pair of clear repeaters from them in early Jan. Sent a cheque and never heard from them again, despite mailing them numerous times. They cashed my cheque, but didn't send the items, so I got another pair from Nigel Marston and put it down to experience. Then last week, a pair turned up from them. I mailed back and explained the situation, but they refused to refund my money and take them back. They admitted that they'd actually sold my repeaters to someone else and had waited to get some more in. Hadn't told me that when I was mailing though!
Anyway, just be aware....

I've had worse experiences on Ebay than that mate. Had things NEVER turn up, not just late. Also had something completely different to what I thought I was buying - ie misdescribed article - posted to me. Consider yourself lucky, at least you can flog the unwanted item on Ebay!

Slightly off-topic, but I bought an item off "germancarsonly" from the states on 3-Jan, they reckon they sent it off by USPS (whatever that is), but I've yet to receive it.
Anybody had anything from these guys, and how long should I wait for it to arrive - I figure 6 weeks is reasonable?

USPS = United States Postal Service.
My cruise control took just over 14 days by USPS (to UK) from Alabama.

If it was sent on the 3rd Jan then that sounds a bit fishy. Even a fishing boat would have brought it to these shores by now. (Excuse my use of the word "fishy" twice, just had a seafood pizza.)

Well IIRC he sent it the week after the auction ended, about the 10th then I guess, but I think I'll have to email to see what he says, I am starting to get a bit worried now..
