Hello to all,

I am a newbie to this forum and I just wanted to say hi. My first e30 was a 1984 318i that up until this day, I refuse to sell. My dad bought it 2 months before I was born and thats about 270,000 miles ago. I was wondering if any one knew where I could find a upgraded performance chip or even a whole ECU unit. It is alot harder to find parts for the M10 in my 318i than the M20's on my other cars. Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

Thanks,

Mike Uy

TBH mate, there is very little point trying to tune your 1.8. Like Zayan said before in another thread if you want it to seem fast take the windscreen out. If it was me, I'd fit a cone filter so at least it sounded a bit faster, sort of a placebo effect....

I know what you mean, Its almost as if I feel sorry for it. I spend so much time and money on my other two cars but yet this car is still the most reliable one out of all of them. Perhaps I should put a M42 motor from the new 318is. Thanks for the quick response.
